The client:
Here our client was the education and training branch of the Yorkshire Riding Centre based in Harrogate.
Run by former Olympic Games representatives, Yorkshire Riding Centre provides top class training to both novice and advanced riders.
What we did:
Our bespoke systems flagged an opportunity for this specific arm of the Yorkshire Riding Centre within Harrogate Borough Council data.
We subsequently conducted further research into Yorkshire Riding Centre as a whole and the various Limited companies operating there. This confirmed what the data was telling us.
Charlie got in touch with Yorkshire Riding Centre, explained our process, clarified our findings and outlined what we believed we could achieve.
The result:
After getting the go ahead, we submitted our application to the local authority.
The application was found to be successful and exactly one month after instructing us, Yorkshire Riding Centre had received a refund in their bank account and had confirmation of reduced business rates moving forward.
