Energym, the trading name of WLF Innovations Limited, are pioneers of smart exercise bikes that generate clean, usable energy.
What we did:
Our custom built algorithms, applied to data provided by Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council, highlighted a potential case to reduce Energym's business rates .
After further research supported what the data was telling us, Marshall reached out to Energym to explain our findings.
We were given the go ahead to proceed and promptly submitted our application.
The result:
The local authority agreed with our application. We ensured the refund matched the estimates of our specialist calculation software and that Energym were receiving the full credit balance rather than having a portion offset against future payments.
Ultimately, Energym were left with a significant refund and substantially reduced ongoing liabilities.
