The client:

The Black Horse in Blaby is a warm, friendly pub with live music and a great atmosphere.

What we did:

Our targeted algorithms applied to data provided by Blaby District Council flagged that the pub could be due a reduction to their business rates.

We conducted further analysis of the pub and the business running the pub, which only solidified what we had initially identified.

"After Marshall Gee rang me about getting a refund on my business rates I was doubtful but with no win no fee I decided to go ahead and I am so happy I did!"

Our account manager Marshall reached out to the pub, explained what we had found, our process and the next steps. We were then given the go ahead to proceed.

The result:

We submitted our application and around four weeks later the council agreed, creating a credit on the account.

The pub were left with a healthy refund and were also made exempt from business rates moving forward.

What our client said:

"After Marshall Gee rang me about getting a refund on my business rates I was doubtful but with no win no fee I decided to go ahead and I am so happy I did! Marshall got my rates down significantly and lovely refund too. I would recommend Marshall to everyone."
