The client:
Stable Cottage is a holiday let in Stroud operated by Jubalin Limited.
What we did:
Our audit of Stroud District Council data identified that Stable Cottage was overpaying on business rates.
We were able to confirm this with a further online investigation into Jubalin Limited and Stable Cottage itself. Once we were satisfied there was a viable case, we contacted Jubalin to explain what we had found and how to proceed.
As we had already in effect already carried out our work prior to contacting the client, we were ready to proceed as soon as we were given the go ahead.
The result:
Just over a week later we received confirmation our application was successful. This created a refund that was sent back to Jubalin Limited and reduced their rates at Stable Cottage moving forward.
