As huge fans of Porteña, meaning "girl from Buenos Aires", we were excited when our audit of commercial property within the London Borough of Southwark suggested we could reduce the authentic Argentinian street food baker's business rates liability.
Following a successful application to the Valuation Office Agency, Porteña became eligible for relief that was previously inaccessible to them. After then conversing with the council on their behalf, we were able to secure a refund worth over £20,000 and confirm a reduction to their liability moving forward.
