What we did:

Our review of data provided by Brighton & Hove Council flagged PIE's Brighton offices as potentially due a reduction to their business rates.

We completed further analysis of the offices and PIE as a whole and were able to solidify the conclusions suggested by the data.

Even though PIE are accountants and well versed in financial matters, business rates are complex and can often require specialist advisors to navigate .

We reached out and explained what we had identified and PIE gave us the go ahead to proceed.

The result:

Within a few weeks of instruction, we received confirmation our application had been successful. This generated a refund of circa £4,000 which was paid directly to PIE.
