Just Trade are an ethical jewellery and accessories brand prioritising producers, communities and the environment.

What we did:

Following our audit of London Borough of Southwark data, we identified that Just Trade occupied multiple offices within the same building and were receiving multiple business rates bills.

Our analysis of their valuations and existing reliefs concluded that there was scope to reduce their business rates liability. We submitted an application to the Valuation Office Agency, which was agreed to at Check stage. We then corresponded with the council on Just Trade's behalf, securing them a refund and a reduction to their future rates.
